Established in 1991, the Cardiff Lodge is nestled in lower Cardiff-by-the-Sea, directly across from the Pacific Ocean. This 17-room getaway was built by a local architect and designer and inspired by their European travels. An iconic, wood shingled, landmark, within walking distance to shopping, restaurants, VG Donuts, San Elijo Campgrounds and the Cardiff State Beach. Their rooftop boasts a panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean and is designed as a relaxing space for guests, with the capacity to host larger events.
The ocean view, cool breeze, bright sun and spectacular sunsets provide an excellent backdrop, authentic to Cardiff's culture and style.
We took a tour with Dawn, who showed us just how great this space can be. Obviously, the view is incredible!
The landscaping is beautiful and blends nicely with any occasion - it looks amazing for weddings too!
The layout provides open space for common areas and selected nooks for wedding cakes, info booths, registration tables, or even a wine bar!
Those who book a time slot for later in the day, enjoy a spectacular view of the sunset over the Pacific Ocean. And if you're hosting friends, family,or co-workers from out of town, they have an excellent place to stay!
