Small Business Saturday is a win-win day for small businesses and shoppers. The day provides discounts, shop specials, surprise giveaways and basket draw tickets.
Cardiff’s Small Business Saturday features a free ticket for any purchase on this day from participating local Cardiff businesses which enters you in Cardiff 101’s Kringle Mingle basket drawings. These drawings take place on December 3rd at Kringle Mingle and give you the opportunity to win over $10,000 in six gift baskets. One, is a “Gift of Cardiff” basket filled with local goods from Sandy Sisters jewelry, Clay+Craft ceramics, Nalu candles, Sea + Wander, Experience Life Chiropractic, Vinyasa Arts, Patagonia Cardiff, Gold Coast Chiropractic, San Diego Botanic Garden and other Cardiff-by-the-Sea retailers. There are several “Capture the Holidays” baskets filled with portrait packages from Bradford Rowley. The “Cardiff Culture” basket is filled with skate, surf and snowboard gear from Nixon, Dakine,Thirtytwo, Vertra, Etnies and Mizu. And lastly, a “Cruise Cardiff” in a cruiser bike from Cardiff’s local bike company, Electra Bicycle Co. Turn in your receipts at Cardiff 101 Main Streets booth at Kringle Mingle and get your tickets. Gift basket tickets can be purchased at the Kringle Mingle festival as well.
Get a bonus! In addition to shoppers receiving the free gift basket drawing tickets, Cardiff 101 will be randomly giving out donated gifts to shoppers at participating establishments throughout the day.
The Cardiff 101 booth will be located out front of Seaside Market to promote the day, participating businesses and guide you in the right direction to shop big.
For live entertainment, Cardiff’s Small Business Saturday features Steve Burrows of Burrito Art painting the VW Bus Utility Box behind Seaside Market. Steve will also be selling some tee shirts that inspired the VW box painting!
